CPSI Biotech has developed the RapidCP^™ device to streamline the freezing and banking of biological material.  The goal of this technology is to allow users to freeze “lots” of samples in a matter of minutes (vs hours) in a user friendly, pushbutton, scalable manner.  RapidCP^™ provides flexibility to optimize cryo procedures and allow for rapid (minutes) automatable bulk freezing of samples. The RapidCP^™ device and process allow for the efficient, high-throughput, controlled cryopreservation of biological materials (human, animal, plant cells, proteins, etc.) and is compatible with typical freeze media, cryoprotective agents and protocols.  The RapidCP^™ freezing device represents an innovative enabling technology that provides improved time management, reduced cost and increased efficiency.
